Producer of 4/4 dance music aka Olicks so far on my journey of starting out producing music 2 years ago my life has purpose I love the craft and skill of making music. My dream is to become a household name in the British music dance scene. My ethos is DIY, being self taught with some mentorship I do all my own promotion,videos, distribution and Google ads. There is a lot of speculation about my artist name. I came up with the name because everyone is some sort of Olick where being a chocoholic, workaholic or shopoholic. I am definitely a workaholic… I make music to dance to. I made the executive decision not to put myself into a labelled genre because I like to think outside the box and that’s what stimulates my creativity and with no boundaries you can really get inspiration from anywhere. I hear music in everything from adverts to TV shows films cartoons and my own poetry and quotes. I’m excited for my future and long may my progress tho slow continue I have 41 tracks on SoundCloud and many realeased on other music platforms I’m hoping to inspire other people to work hard and follow your dreams and they will come true.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
I’ve been around music and been in the music scene all my life. I have listen to all the main genres at some stage pop, jungle ,happy hard core, garage, house, trance and drum and bass.
What are your biggest musical influences?
I loved Tracy Chapman and UB40 growing up but I loved the 90’s for the music that changed how we viewed music completely.

What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
I think just keeping up to date with all my social media accounts and website it takes a lot of time but I do get all my tasks done by deadlines.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I currently have 3 tracks released on record labels but have produced 41 tracks so far on SoundCloud and 10 tracks that I have distributed and released on all music platforms I have also been involved in two collaborations one released 5/9/25 with Geoxwill called moments.
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
It’s a upbeat dance track nice rolling track with serious female vocals that give the track purpose and meaning that people can relate to.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I am planning to do a 3 track EP Telling a tragic love story, so beginning middle and sadly the end but all dance but with relatable lyrics.
