Bio
I am Marques Kilgore, better known as, Kasual OWNLY. I grew up in Bronzeville, located on the southside of Chicago, IL.
For as long as I can remember I have been drawn to all forms of music, resulting me to attend Chicago High School for the Arts (Chiarts). I am fascinated with the ability to put different sounds together, creating images through sound. Music evokes emotion, triggers nostalgia, and I believe contributes to healing, a balm to those ailing. Music transcends financial status, race, gender, and age. It is truly a language for all people. Being able to bring this gift, and share it with the world is truly a humbling privilege.
I began focusing on writing and creating music since 2016, being the start of my senior year of high school. Performance has always been challenging for myself, so I am going to attend any open mic available, to strengthen my skills, as my goal is to perform as natural as it is for me to write music.

My older brother and classmates.

Mick Jenkins, Mac Miller, Supa Bwe, Kanye West, Musiq Soulchild and ect.
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I am a independent Artist all the way.
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
One of my biggest challenges in my career has been separating the real from the fake as far as other artist
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I’ve released over 75 different songs.

Its definitely something creative, original, relatable, and something everyone can laugh at
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I working a new Ep that I plan on dropping whenever I’m finished with it lol.
