Where are you based?
Orlando FL

Over 5 years releasing singles and most recent singles for 2 years now.

What genre would you consider your music to be?
I have a unique writing style that represents several genres because that’s my collective of experience in the arts. You’ll hear soul, R&B, neo soul, pop, touch of technique of the classical, at times I feel a bit of hip hop in the vibe. It’s just a vibe. If I had to pick, Neo-Soul would be a amazing to live in

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
I’ve been singing since the young age of 6 with my first solo around that age. I was a church pianist at the tender at of 12 years old. By the time I was 19 I was on salary as the director of music. Church is where we sang as a country girl from a small town. Thats where you shared your gift of music. I did it all. I was classically trained from 11-18 years of age. I loved Opera and I was once compared to Kathleen Battle. I’d always sing and write music as a little girl. I’d put groups together all kind of fun stuff. On 2009 I wrote gospel music but the record deal was crap so it never went anywhere that was in the MySpace days. It was way back. In 2010 I did a few mixtapes and shared some things on sound cloud, Christmas music gospel mixtapes that I’d re-write to a hit R&B songs. In 2013, I even dabbled in radio as a host which I’d love to do again some day. Yeah. I’ve been doing this my whole life bi can’t live without music.

What are your biggest musical influences?
I’d say Whitney Houston, Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Drake. Yeah, that covers all the basis. Haha very much all of these differences describe how I create. Like a banging slow cooker recipe. I just love music.

Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I’m an independent artist. I don’t think it’s necessary to sign to a label these days and especially for someone like myself. I’d like to have a great business manager and an amazing team of all the critical hats covered. That’s where the value is and success really is near at that point. Thats my goal as an indie artist. Once a manager who is excellent at their job wants to work with me, I know I’m going to see my dreams come true and new levels will be achieved.

What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
I would say artist development. I’m loving the artist that I am. However, as a business woman, I am doing the work that is necessary for the brand awareness. Thats been tough because I want to do it all. However, a sound that represents all of me but is still one sound, that’s the work.

How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I’ve released singles only Im at a total of 8 singles streaming now. My first being released on an official distribution platform 2021 called, Dangerous Ex. Others were on platforms such as sound cloud, but not distributed so I don’t count those necessarily.

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
Sure! I dropped a new single titled “Tears Wasted” and she stated this song derived from my accepting of love relationships that did not serve my highest good. Such as taking a man’s shortcomings and playing along with potential in hopes of a better love relationship until I had enough. He would always cry and pretend to be a “changed man” and I would always fall for it and take him back and start the cycle all over again. Not this time, nope. I was done”. It’s wonderful that i worked with producer WyCue who helped bring the song “Tears Wasted” to life. She decided to keep the original version because of its authenticity and rawness. Sometimes, those elements can add a special charm to a song

Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
Yes! 2023 brought some really special people into my life. Very talented indeed. I have plans to create a Live show and join a leading agency. I’m working on finalizing the scope of the show this early spring 2024. And in the summer of 2024 I’ll work with a Grammy award-winning songwriter and release my next single. I hope to complete my first EP by the end of 2024.
