What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
Inspiration comes in various ways. I get inspired whenever I find unique styles of music pieces especially pieces of The great guitarists Andres Segovia and Narciso Yepes. They give the music a different meaning that touches my heart and inspires me deeply.
What are your biggest musical influences?
Honestly, I am proud of every step I took though my career path. Every step was an achievement for me even the small ones. Including every award, every title and every concert, is considered an achievement to me. I am really looking forward to introducing my next project to my dear fans. I am always working on something new as guitar arrangements and music videos. And I would really like these projects. What I want to achieve is for my music to reach my audience heart worldwide. Though I have already achieved much progress in it.
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
Yes, I’m signed up to an honourable artistic label, as I’m guitar main professor and concert master at Cairo Opera House and The American University in Cairo, add to being the WINNER of “Yamaha Artist” In Egypt and The Middle East from Yamaha Music Corporation in Japan.
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
I guess it’s about how I started my career, How did I found someone to teach me academically, the obstacles that I overcame and how did I do it . It’s also about the achievements I reached step by step. No one knows what is stored in the future, but I promised myself to work more and make creative arrangements for pieces that I look forward to introducing to my fans. I also think that by the end of the Year I will have participated in many other online activity. Also I hope the pandemic will be over and we will be able to return to our normal interactive life. Finally, would love to send a message to my fans and a thank you note to anyone Who helped me become who I’m today.

Three albums released, “The Romantic Guitar Of Emad Hamdy” – “The Spanish Album” – “A Journey To Latin America”
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
I like to think that my latest recording takes a lot of unexpected twists and turns. It definitely explores some new sonics and pathways in relation to the songs themselves. More than anything, I think it’s a super fun record and I’m pumped to play it live in the near future.
