Bio
Born into a musical family I naturally pursued music studies at an early age. Music was a huge part of growing up and it was always around me whether I was listening to my father practice or perform on stage. I attended live concerts sitting on my mother’s lap and was so drawn to the sounds and the excitement; I knew becoming a musician was something I wanted to do and pursue as a dream. Sometimes my family would be performing at a restaurant and other times at church. There were so many opportunities to learn, ask questions and to grow musically into a performer and writer. Now that I’m older and have had time to build a lifestyle that affords me more time to create independently, I’m striving to make as much music as I can and as often as I can! The pandemic has given many artists a platform to present their material in a more free and open way. Where before there might have been limitations on performance venues and recording studios, myself and many other musicians have taken this opportunity to get out there and share our craft with the world. I’ve spent most of my career as a musician-for-hire as well as leading my own cover and original bands. Finally stepping out on my own has been a bit intimidating but it’s allowed me a freedom of expression I wouldn’t have if I only expressed myself through collaborative projects and performing ensembles. Putting a voice out there as a solo performer has been extremely rewarding and challenging at the same time but I only have to manage myself and my art. I’m not managing a group, booking gigs and handling expenses. It’s just me.

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
“Moonlight” is a song about the internal struggle of once finding love but losing that love. You hold onto that feeling inside and even though you may be sad sometimes there is hope in knowing you shared that experience with someone special. Through life and it’s many changes we move in and out of different moments of love but that one unrequited feeling reminds you of what once was. The song is meant to be both reflective yet chill; everything is going to be alright because we all share in the splendor and wonder of the same moonlight, no matter where we are.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I’m currently making a plan to release 3 full-length album releases spanning multiple genres and styles. Becoming a competent stylist of different musical visions means I don’t have to be tied to a particular style of music. I don’t want to be dedicated to a singular musical focus but rather adaptive to all the music in my mind that I want to share with my listeners.
