How long have you been making music?
I have grown up with music, but I didn’t start really making music until I started college for my degree in Music Production at LAFS last March.
What genre would you consider your music to be?
I don’t really have a genre. I am open to any style or genre. I want to be able to adapt to any style and be able to make anything.
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
I have always loved music. It has always been my number one love. The thing that. most inspired me to start actually making music was watching Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda make and produce stuff on Twitch every day. Watching the process of building a song from the ground up, made me fall in love with it even more. I knew I wanted to be able to do something like that and make stuff that I would love to listen to.
What are your biggest musical influences?
Linkin Park, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Guns n Roses.
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I am an independent artist.
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
The biggest challenges have been learning the ropes of making a song and the patience and detail it takes to put it together. Also, the challenge of networking has been hard to overcome. I’m not in a very musically driven area, so it has been hard to locate and find people that would be interested in my music.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
so far, this is the only song that I have released. I have another one in the works to release hopefully soon.
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
The song is basically talking about fighting with your inner demons and trying to find a way out . It is a very personal song for me, because I suffer from anxiety and depression and I think that writing this song was a way for me to get some of my thoughts out.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I have another song called “I Wanna Go” that I am in the process of finishing up for release.
