Rap recording artist j watt (born Jason Watkins), who was born in Cleveland, Ohio, raised in Nashville, Tennessee, now residing in Charlotte, NC has inspiration and greatness inside of him waiting to be shared with the world.

At this point in his career j watt plans to continue gaining exposure via internet and other forms of advertisement as well as public appearance and performances. This road will eventually lead j watt to headlining and hosting full concert music events along with other artists. Simultaneously, his plan is very much alive to land the right type of distribution deal which will help further his career. Masses of listeners and music lovers will be able to hear and respect heart filled lines such as: “From middle class perspective who’d expect this/dood flows minus platinum on wrist/I’m action with this can’t be laughing at this/as nice as he comes/watch how mean this gets/ya’ll thought I was guns and techs/talk ones, clothes, money and vests/nothing like this I’m the opposite skit/speaks with all spirit you know that’s him”. Meanwhile j watt will continue creating his buzz while creating new markets and avenues with his music.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
Nothing in particular. I’ve just always been musically inclined since a young age.

jazz, 50’s 60’s 70’s Motown and other r&b classics, classical

Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
Indie artist with SONY Orchard affiliation and distribution through MC1 Records/Nashville

What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Not really a challenge but seeing how there seems to be little overall respect for indie artists.

How many songs or albums have you released to date?
15 collective full body album, EP and singles.

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
It’s a call to all for integrity. It’s also a reminder of my social position and role in creating a better environment.

Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I plan to release two full body of work albums in the most immediate future. And tentatively along the way of my next upcoming tour. One if not both of those albums will be Grammy submitted. I am set and have a spot to attend the 2022/23 Grammy Awards and am looking forward to that experience. Thank you kindly for the interview opportunity. 1 luv
