What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
I’ve always been a huge fan of music all my life., I specifically remember when I was 5 hearing gospel and classical music around the house. My older sister played a lot of music around the house as well . So I started making sounds with sticks until I got a rhythm. I learned how to play the drums at my church when I was 6 years old. Ever since then I always wanted to be in music eventually. Fast Forward when I was 14 I started song writing to pass time I started writing from poetry books to gain an idea for practice. My mom always told me I had a way with words so because my practice poetry was filled with deep words. In my 12th grade year in high school after 3 years of postponing my poetry I started rapping the poetry I was writing . I would rap with some friends at lunchtime and they told me I had skills , so I really started to chase the dream of actually becoming a musician .
What are your biggest musical influences?
Production Wise Babyface, Quincy Jones, Kanye West , & No ID .I mainly looked up to Murs , J Cole , Kendrick Lamar ,Drake , Royce Da 5’9 , Pusha T , & Nas Around My Era .I was crafting my style after them learning song structures how to count bars and rearrange my different vocal pattern styles .

What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Not being able to record when I sold my laptop for selfish reasons . Before I started rapping officially in 2015 I went 3 years without a laptop because I didn’t have success I thought I would have with my demo song I recorded back in 2012 after I graduated high school . At the time I was writing songs in my phone and I didn’t save them or write them on the pad and my phone erased all my current songs and I went into a full writers block for 3 yrs. I didn’t have a mic or studio set up. I was frustrated and depressed until I finally found a laptop that was low cost and the rest was history .

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
It’s called jealous judas it sounds like a diss but im really addressing my critic’s and haters it’s about rising above jealously and envy.

It’s Called Dc Universe 6 : End Of Universe It’s Basically The End Of The Album Series My 1st Ep Was Called Dc Universe. It has boom bap sample soul beats and trap beats. The lyrics is story telling and hard rapping it’s a step up from my previous projects and albums .
