Blakk Gawd is a musical genius! Born in San Diego, California and raised in Slidell, Louisiana Blakk Gawd entangles the west coast with the dirty south to give the music audience something amazing to listen to. Now settled in Colorado Springs, Colorado Blakk Gawd is making major moves with his HipHop career. With two albums and multiple singles out on all major music platforms Blakk is just getting warmed up. Featured on Eastside Raps hosted by Dave East, Blakk Gawd gave the world a little taste of what’s to come with his hit single “Fressh Fressh” featuring PrettyMF which has gained more than 160k streams on Spotify alone. Blakk Gawd is the true definition of an independent and with motion he has behind him, he will be the future of HipHop.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
My older brother “Mouse” and listening to 2Pac growing up made me feel like I too can make music that will be worth something even after I am gone.
What are your biggest musical influences?
Nipsey Hussle, Wale, and Jcole
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I am own my record label C7Records but in my mind I am still independent because I still depend on me to make things happen.
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Find my voice. I never wanted to follow that wave of what everybody else’s doing. I wanted to find a voice that lets people know that I am me and not them. Now that I found it, it’s no stopping me.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I have two albums and seven singles out so far.
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
My lastest release is “Dream”. It’s a whole vibe. The song basically is about me living my dreams and not worry about the negativity or negative thoughts of others. For me to live my dream I have to overcome life obstacles before I can enjoy the life I dream of. I feel like this song everybody in the world can relate.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I actually have a album set to drop some time next year. Maybe January 27,2021 or February 28,2021 I still don’t know yet. The album is called “Blakk Bianchi II”. This album is definitely a masterpiece. I think it will be a forever album that everyone will enjoy for centuries to come.
