DJ Wheels released his first mix compilation on the 18th August 2020 called South London Streets, born in 1972, Lee Turner [AKA DJ Wheels], grew up amongst the Windrush generation, The Windrush Generation arrived in Britain from the Caribbean, they brought with them a huge amount of art, music and writing that would transform British culture forever. Lee also grew up around Jazz as his late father was a jazz pianist, His Album comprises of melodic harmonies that reflect his upbringing and culture, as his father always said quoting Duke Ellington: “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing).”
